Pet Relocation

Pet Relocation Associates highly recommend that cats and dogs living in Algeria are treated regularly for Ticks and Fleas – carriers of many diseases, some fatal. All cats and dogs relocating to Algeria must be accompanied by a rabies vaccination certificate showing that the animal had been vaccinated at least 30 days, but not more than 12 months before pet relocation to Algeria, together with a export health certificate signed, stamped and dated by a licensed government veterinarian in country of origin. Psittacine birds: health certificate of origin and statement of veterinary surgeon that the bird is free from psittacosis.
These are pet relocation guidelines only which are subject to change. Contact the Embassy of Algeria for current requirements for bringing pets into their country.
