Pet Relocation to Armenia

Pet Relocation

Pets must first be micro-chipped then vaccinated against rabies ( and various other diseases ) at least 30 days but not more than 12 months prior to travel. Pets must also be accompanied by a export health certificate signed, stamped and dated within 5 days by a licensed government veterinarian in country of origin.
All other pets (birds, invertebrates, tropical fish, reptiles, amphibian, mammals such as rodents and rabbits) are not subject to the regulations in respect of the anti-rabies vaccination but may have to meet other requirements as to a limit on the number of animals with a veterinary good health certificate to accompany them. Pet owners are strongly advised to seek further information from the relevant authority of their country and/or that of the country of destination.
These are pet relocation Guidelines only which are subject to change. Please contact the Embassy of Armenia, or their Consulate, for current requirements about bringing pets into their country.
