There are no quarantine requirements for pets coming into Belarus. Rabies vaccinations must have been given at least 30 days but not more than 12 months prior to arrival in country. If the rabies vaccination is a booster vaccine, then it can be given within the 12 months window. A valid Rabies Certificate is required, as is a export health certificate obtained within 10 days of the pet relocation, signed, stamped and dated by a licensed government veterinarian in country of origin prior to the pet’s arrival in Belarus. A small registration fee, payable in Belarusian is due upon entry. It is advisable for pets to to be micro-chipped before being vaccinated for rabies.
