Pet Relocation to Cyprus


Pet Relocation; You are allowed to bring in a maximum of 5 pets per person, which includes dogs, cats or ferrets of a minimum age of 3 months old. The pet must have been vaccinated against Rabies at least 30 days, but not more than 12 months prior to entering Cyprus. If the pet is arriving from outside the EU, it must be vaccinated and tested for three months and will be placed in quarantine for 6 months up on arrival in Cyprus. Your pet should have it’s EU “Pet Passport” and treated against echinococcus and ectoparasites carried out no less than 24 hours and not more than 48 hours before shipment (noted on a certificate by the administering vet / or the pet will be subject to one month in quarantine). You should also have an Veterinary Health Certificate in Greek or English. Regulation will vary depending from which country the pet will be arriving from,.
