Pet Relocation to Djibouti

 


Pet Travel; Pets must have a valid rabies vaccinations certificate showing that the pet had been vaccinated at least 30 days, but not more than 6 months, prior to entering Djibouti. Export Health Certificate. Pets must be accompanied by a export health certificate signed, stamped and dated with 48 hours by a licensed government veterinarian in country of origin. Given Djibouti’s warm climate, it is advisable to travel with pets to ensure that they are cared for properly and removed promptly from the tarmac upon arrival. Veterinary care is available, and although there is only one vet for household pets, he is very caring and competent. There are no kennel facilities.
