Entering EU, from member states: All dogs, cats and ferrets must be micro-chipped FIRST then vaccinated against rabies at least 21 days ( or 30 days, if travelling from a none EU member state ), but not more than 12 months before pet relocation, with details of this entered into the ‘Pet Passport’. Pets arriving from outside a EU member state must be accompanied by a rabies vaccination certificate and a export health certificate signed, stamped and dated by a licensed government veterinarian in country of origin within 5 days of export.
Germany has strict rules about prohibited breeds of dogs which are are not allowed entry. For details of these breeds contact the Embassy of Germany.
