Pet Relocation to Guatemala

 


Bringing pets to Guatemala; All cats and dogs entering the country must FIRST be micro-chipped then vaccinated against rabies with the certificate showing that this had been done at least 30 days, but not more than 6 months, prior to export. Pets must also be accompanied by a export health certificate signed, stamped and dated by a licensed government veterinarian in country of origin within 48 hours of export. Dogs must also be accompanied by the veterinary certificate showing that the dog had been vaccinated against distemper and parvovirus. “Pet Passports” are accepted from certain countries.
