Pet Relocation to Italy

 


Pet Relocation; Cats, dogs and ferrets being imported from EU member states must FIRST be micro-chipped and then vaccinated against rabies at least 21 days, but not more than 12 months, prior to entering Italy and can arrive under the pet travel scheme with a completed “Pet Passport” .
Pets arriving from none EU member states must FIRST be micro-chipped and vaccinated against rabies at least 30 days, but not more than 12 months and will require a blood test, to see if the vaccination had worked, together with certain other vaccinations and will require a veterinary export health certificate signed, stamped and dated by a government licensed veterinarian in country of origin within 4 days of pet export.
